The IHT reports today that iPhone users will be able to download a free Google application from iTunes that allows them to speak rather than type their search terms on Google. The application, though not perfect yet, will take advantage of the iPhone's GPS capabilities and return location specific results. This should be great whew looking for a local taxi service at 3 in the morning when typing your search terms could be rather tricky.
I assume that this is a voice recognition app that's free and not an application that recognises free speech.
