When it comes to developing products for boys between 6 and 14, Disney has looked at its team of anthropologists for insights. After spending 18 months shadowing young boys the team developed a set of insights that have guided Disney in developing Disney XD a new cable channel and website.
With an industry worth $50 billion worldwide, it is not surprising that Disney has looked for rich implicit information about its young consumers.
